Questions people ask
How many nappies are in a pack?
Ten. Every Equipit pack holds ten nappies, whatever the size.
What waist size is Large?
Large fits a waist of 102 to 142 cm, which is 40 to 56 inches. Under 102 cm, order Medium. Over 142 cm, order Extra Large. Measure around the widest part of the hips rather than the natural waist, because that is where the nappy actually sits.
How long does one nappy last?
Up to 12 hours, depending on how much the wearer drinks and how active they are. Most people use one through the day and a fresh one overnight, which covers the full 24 hours.
Is this absorbent enough for overnight?
Yes. At 3100 mL it is rated for overnight use. If you are finding leaks by morning, the usual cause is fit rather than absorbency, so check the size and make sure the leg cuffs are pulled out and sitting in the crease of the thigh.
Can I claim this on my NDIS plan?
Yes, if you are self managed or plan managed. Continence products sit in the Core Supports consumables budget. Order through the website and we will send a tax invoice you can submit to your plan manager or claim yourself. If your plan is NDIA managed, you need to order through an NDIS registered provider instead, so call us on 0448 663 293 and we will point you the right way.
Can I pick it up instead of paying delivery?
Yes. Choose local pickup at checkout and there is no delivery charge. We are in Mount Druitt in Western Sydney. Your order is ready within 24 hours and we email you the pickup address and a time window once it is packed.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery of a single pack of Large is $17 anywhere in Australia. If you are ordering regularly, the 3 pack box at $32 total delivery or the 10 pack box at $68 works out far cheaper per nappy on freight.
Is it cheaper to buy more at once?
Yes. The box of 3 packs is $53.97, about $1.80 a nappy. The box of 10 packs is $159.92, about $1.60 a nappy and $39.98 less than buying ten singles. Both are listed separately on this site.
Are these pull ups or tape style?
Tape style, with refastenable tabs on both hips. That makes them easier for a carer to change someone who is seated or in bed, and it means you can open one to check the fit without ruining it.
