Questions people ask
How many nappies are in a pack?
Ten. Every Equipit pack holds ten nappies, whatever the size.
What waist size is Extra Large?
Extra Large fits a waist of 132 to 173 cm, which is 52 to 68 inches. Under 132 cm, order Large. Measure around the widest part of the hips rather than the natural waist, because that is where the nappy actually sits. If the tabs are pulling or the leg cuffs are leaving marks, you are a size down from where you should be.
How long does one nappy last?
Up to 12 hours, depending on how much the wearer drinks and how active they are. Most people use one through the day and a fresh one overnight, which covers the full 24 hours.
Is the XL more absorbent than the Large?
No. Both hold 3100 mL. The difference is fit, not capacity, so choose by waist measurement rather than by absorbency.
Can I claim this on my NDIS plan?
Yes, if you are self managed or plan managed. Continence products sit in the Core Supports consumables budget. Order through the website and we will send a tax invoice you can submit to your plan manager or claim yourself. If your plan is NDIA managed, you need to order through an NDIS registered provider instead, so call us on 0448 663 293 and we will point you the right way.
Can I pick it up instead of paying delivery?
Yes. Choose local pickup at checkout and there is no delivery charge. We are in Mount Druitt in Western Sydney. Your order is ready within 24 hours and we email you the pickup address and a time window once it is packed.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery of a single pack of Extra Large is $19 anywhere in Australia. If you are ordering regularly, the 3 pack box at $36 total delivery or the 10 pack box at $75 works out far cheaper per nappy on freight.
Is it cheaper to buy more at once?
Yes. The box of 3 packs is $67.47, about $2.25 a nappy. The box of 10 packs is $199.92, about $2.00 a nappy and $49.98 less than buying ten singles. Both are listed separately on this site.
Are these pull ups or tape style?
Tape style, with refastenable tabs on both hips. That makes them easier for a carer to change someone who is seated or in bed, and it means you can open one to check the fit without ruining it.
